Our take on the Green Homes Grant scheme, more Carbon Co-op jobs and much more...

❄️ Winter is coming, is your home ready? ❄️

Hi Friend!

The weather is getting colder and many of us are still spending most of our time at home leading to a renewed focus on ensuring our homes are draught proof and warm. There has been massive interest in the new Green Homes Grant scheme which has been launched today as a way to meet these requirements. As a result we have produced a briefing with what we know about the scheme and how to take advantage without facing unintended consequences.

We are still looking to fill a number of new positions, with roles for a

Business Development Manager and a Python/Linux Software Engineer, currently available.

Since the temperature is changing it is a good time to look into booking our thermal imaging camera for your use! You can find all the information you need to borrow the camera on our website (make sure you are logged into the members' area!).

Green Homes Grant Homeowner Briefing

The Green Homes Grant has created a buzz in the world of retrofit. We’ve been inundated with questions about the scheme, so here’s our view.

Proceed with caution, with research into measures and installers. As part of a wider whole house approach it could be a good funding opportunity for you. It’s hard for us to give advice on individual measures without seeing your home, read on you’ll see why!
