August Update 🔆

Hi Friend,

As August marches ahead, so does our work to tackle domestic carbon emissions and empower people to take collective action to avoid runaway climate change.

This month we are sharing some exciting training opportunities from the AECB, so if you want to expand your skills in retrofit and environment conscious construction this could be your opportunity.

Also, the National Retrofit Hub are looking for residents and homeowners who undergone retrofits to join their stakeholder group - so make sure not to miss out.

AECB Carbonlite PHribbon Course

Are you a PHribbon user looking to dig a little deeper and understand how to get the most from the software and save time at the design stage? Do you want to learn how to show your clients the carbon reduction benefits early on?

Software and training bundles are available. Check out this training and others from the AECB other at the CarbonLite Training Centre.

National Retrofit Hub - Stakeholder Group

The National Retrofit Hub is working on a project about how to measure the results of retrofit programs. They invite people to join Stakeholder Group 3. This group is for residents and homeowners who have taken part in retrofit programs or have been affected by them.

Join a workshop where they will talk about your experiences with retrofit work. They want to know:

✅ What benefits have you seen?

🎯 What challenges did you face?

They will also discuss how these programs can help improve health.

Your opinions are very important. They will help them improve future retrofit efforts.

The workshop will be on Wednesday, August 27th, from 10 to 11 AM.
