| Prayer & Fasting For our nation and the world, September 11, 2001 marked a distinctive change of direction in our country’s history. Now, twenty-five years later, much of our nation’s people are unsure about a God in heaven, let alone One we should trust in. God’s call today for His people is the same call the Lord has always had; return to me and seek My face, and turn from your own ways.
Please join us on Wednesday, September 9 for a day of prayer and fasting for our nation and the world we live in, that God’s people, including us, would turn back to Him. |
| Singspiration Save the Date Everyone is invited to join us for Singspiration, Saturday, Sept. 12 at 6:30 PM. This event is open to the public, so please spread the word to your friends in the community. If you have a special number that you are willing to share, please reach out to Col. Behr by Wednesday, Sept. 9. |
| Battalion Update | Capt. Winkler The fall training quarter is off and running! This quarter we are running Aviation, Dive, Fire Academy (starting Sept 10), and Missions. Aviation and Dive started the quarter off by deploying to Carmen, IN, to assist with flood relief. They are due back on Campus on Friday. Missions is kicking class off this week with Instructor Ryder. Please be in prayer for all the men in training this quarter that their time here would be beneficial spiritually, personally, and professionally. Please also note that we have flight students giving us an active runway quarter. |
| Basic Training Update | Maj. Hawley Cadre arrived over the weekend, and training is now in full swing! Over the course of the next two weeks, we will be working to prepare for the start of Basic Training and the men we will be working with. Please be in prayer for Cadre as we prepare, that our minds and hearts would be focused on Christ and the men coming in, and not on ourselves. Also over the weekend, we had 14 men arrive on campus to begin Prep-Course! The focus will be to give these men a head start on learning different aspects of Basic Training. They will spend time in class as well as preparing both physically with PT, and mentally with the memorization of 1 Peter. Please be in prayer for both the students and leadership as we work to prepare these guys for the training to come.
