National Day of Prayer | May 4
We will have a longer time of prayer on Thursday here at the noon hour, or for those who would like to attend the Big Sandy community gathering, at the Heritage Center downtown. Please join with many others across the land to call upon the Lord and seek Him personally, and together as a family, ministry, and nation.
Staff Dorm Cleaning | May 11
We are hosting another Staff Dorm Cleaning next Thursday, May 11, in Dogwood at 8:30 AM. Coffee and treats provided! Please text Michele Weiss to sign up for your favorite cleaning responsibility. Thanks for your help and support!
Battalion Update | Capt. Vanderford
The Battalion training schedule continues to be very busy. This week, Construction is deploying to Little Rock, EMT is beginning clinicals, and Aquatics will be traveling to dive in a retired missile silo in West Texas. This point in the quarter is where guys tend to get tired, discouraged, and complacent with the routine. Please pray for endurance, energy, and a good perspective during this season.
Basic Training Update | Maj. Boulden
Unit 68 ventures into its sixth week of training and will participate in its most challenging event so far—the 24-Hour Endurance Hike. Lord willing, the Unit will head out Tuesday afternoon for Oklahoma, start the hike early Wednesday, and return by Thursday afternoon. Please pray that we will have great weather, stay healthy and safe, and that we will all finish well.
