Secret Church
SMaj. Kilpatrick will be hosting a simulcast of the David Platt Secret Church on Friday, April 26 from 6:00 PM to 12:00 Midnight. (Please arrive early.) The Secret Church is a six hour Bible Teaching and Prayer Gathering in Washington D.C. that will be live streamed in the Field House Dining Room. Along with being challenged in prayer, fasting, and the pursuit of God, participants will spend focused time praying for the persecuted church in Somalia.

Everyone is invited! Registration is $10/person which covers a small book with notes to follow along in the sessions. If you haven't signed up but are interested in attending, please contact SMaj. Kilpatrick today, Monday, April 15 so he can order any remaining books.

Prayer and Fasting | Dr. Levendusky
In conjunction with the “Secret Church” program that is being planned, I would like to encourage all of our staff to make Friday, April 26, 2019, a day of prayer and fasting. This is a special opportunity to join together as a staff and community, but also with other believers around the world. May the persecuted church and those who serve as missionaries to those countries be a focus for that day as well as within our own prayer closets more regularly.
Battalion Update | Maj. Boulden
MRT returned this past Friday after a great week of service at French Camp, LA. They will head to Nebraska on Sunday to aid Samaritans Purse with Flood Relief.

Tech had a great week of confined space rescue and will be moving on to Swift Water Rescue this week. Our Dive guys enjoyed Jordan Harvell as their guest instructor these past two weeks and will be joining Tech Rescue for Swift Water Rescue Training.

The men of Unit 61 will be completing more rope system training, advanced land navigation, and their 12-hour hike at the end of the week.

Leadership Corner | Maj. Boulden
We have to be constantly striving for unity and stability in our teams. It doesn't just happen. Every member of your team is wondering: Can I trust you? Do you care about me? Are you committed to this?

In order to build stability and unity, you need to show your team that your answer is to all three questions is "yes." How do you do this? You do it with every decision you make. Every decision either reinforces or undermines one of these "yes" answers.

If people like you, they might listen to you. But if they trust you and know you care about them, they'll follow you. You portray trustworthiness, or lack thereof, in everything you do. In everything you say. In every decision you make.
