| 2026 Spring Bass Fishing Contest Wrapping Up! The 2026 Spring Bass Fishing Contest is coming to a close on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. | Good Friday Service ALERT will be co-hosting a Good Friday service with the Big Sandy Ministerial Alliance on Friday, April 3 at 6:30 pm in the Chapel. The service will be open to members of the community, and we are expecting about 60 community members to join the ALERT Battalion for the service. All are welcome to attend that service. |

| CPR/AED Class If you're looking to get or update your CPR/AED certification, we have one-day classes scheduled for April 10 and April 16. Cost is $75/person. Limited space available. If you're interested, please contact Jen Solberg or Sam Kane. |
| Family Conference Registration & Meals Staff families are invited to join us for children's programs during the conference; there is no cost to attend, but please note that it will be a taxable benefit to employees and will show up as such on the year-end tax form. | Welcome Baby Caleb! James and Bethany Vander Weide welcomed Caleb Reinder (pronounced "Rynder") on Wednesday, March 18. He weighed 6 lbs 14 oz and measures 20 inches long. If you'd like to support James and Bethany with a meal, you can do that here! |
| Secret Church This year Secret Church will be April 17 at 6:00 pm in the fieldhouse dining room. The theme is the life of the prophet Elijah. You can find out more details here. The Battalion has 12 extra discounted tickets at $9 each (regular price is $27) available on a first-come, first-serve basis, so if you are interested in joining the Battalion for the event, please contact Capt. Winkler. Ticket price includes the workbook and snacks during the event. |
| Battalion Update | Capt. Winkler Battalion is starting the third week of the quarter. Aviation returned home from deployment on Saturday, and the EMTs left on Sunday to head up to a different location in Mississippi to help with clean up efforts. Construction is finishing up roofing, Missions is in class this week and part of next week before they head out to Pennsylvania, and Aviation is getting back into their classes after being gone for a week. Please pray for safety for the guys on deployment this week! |
| Basic Training Update | Maj. Hawley Unit 74 arrived safely for Basic Training last Thursday. After three days of in-processing, the men will officially begin training this evening at 6:30 in the gym. This is an open event, so feel free to come and support the new unit. The remainder of the week will be spent settling in, learning the rules and regulations, and beginning their baseline classes on navigation and rope skills. Please keep the leadership cadre in your prayers, and all the recruits under our care. |
