Smoke Signals

The Campfire Stories Newsletter

February 2021

Hi Friend,

It's almost the end of January 2021 and time for the latest Campfire Stories Smoke Signals!

The Dedanite Consignment is now mid-round 3 and seven episodes have been posted for your reading pleasure.

Smuggler Dean Dean has teamed with the Vizin master Miss Yadnee to escape the pirate haven of Kualanandar. As they race to D-Jinn IV and Dean's homeworld to seek help, hardwired Hotshot Grath Danum is hot on their trail, desperate to conclude his contract before Tar Garu gets impatient.

Episodes can be found, along with Murder at the Mill, either on the official Campfire Stories website or under CampfireWriting at Wattpad.com.

As of now, on Wattpad, we're over one hundred readers of Murder at the Mill.

Authors Wanted for 1-Round Micro-campfire Story

We understand that a long campfire story can be quite challenging not only to commit to week after week, but also in the effort required to keep track of the twists and turns in a story with so many authors. So, if you enjoy writing campfire stories but want something a little less taxing, we have the thing for you.

We're looking to do several one-round micro-campfire stories (thanks to Matthew Leather for the idea). Each story would have 7-10 authors who would write a 500-word addition to the story on their turn, creating a story of approximately 3500-5000 words long.

If this sounds interesting to you, you can contact us by responding to this e-mail or by signing-up through our website.
