Can we ask you a quick favour?

There has been a question we've been asking many people we've met over the last 5-6 weeks, and we've found it quite interesting the variety of replies. Some have shocked us a bit whilst others we have been in awe of with how thought through they've been, they've even put us to shame.

You see we've invested quite a bit of our time in the last few months planning and getting ready for the launch of our 'Coffee Shop Marketing Academy' for 2016.

It’s something we've had on the back burner for a few years. Finally the right pieces have come together, and we are more than a little excited about it!!

As we've been asking others about their own plans for next year, what we've found is many people know generally the big goal they are aiming for, but they've not spent sufficient time thinking about all the little things that they will need in place to make that happen. (Though as we said, some have it planned in meticulous detail – and that’s pretty impressive and has made us up our game a bit too!)

Obviously, given what we do, we usually go on to talking about how to compete with the new coffee shop opening close by, the upcoming rent review, getting great staff and having more of a life outside the business. 

What we commonly find forgotten is how to get more customers, and how to get your existing customers to spend more, you see by getting this part right you will make everything else easier.
