Dear Valued Customer,
We regret to inform you that due to extreme winter weather conditions at our hatchery and a widespread Arctic blast affecting much of the United States, we have made the difficult decision not to ship or release any pickup orders scheduled for February 19th. This decision was not made lightly, but the safety and well-being of the chicks must come first. Shipping in such severe conditions would put them at high risk, and we cannot in good conscience jeopardize their health.
We understand that this delay is frustrating and disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. With over 2,000 orders affected, rescheduling will be a complex process, as upcoming hatch dates are already heavily booked. Our team is working diligently to notify each customer with a new ship date, but this process will take several days. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these challenges.
This situation is a tremendous loss not only for Cackle Hatchery but also for our valued customers. We know many of you have been eagerly awaiting your chicks, and we are committed to finding the best possible solution to get them to you safely. Please know that we are doing everything we can to minimize the disruption while maintaining the highest standards of care for our chicks.
We will be reaching out as soon as possible with an updated ship date for your order. Updated ship date emails will take about a week to send out. We kindly ask that you refrain from calling about your new ship date until you receive your email confirmation, as our phone lines are extremely busy at this time. We truly appreciate your support and understanding during this unexpected weather challenge.
Thank you for being a valued part of the Cackle Hatchery family. |
