Enter Cackle Hatchery's 2024 Photo Contest Today!

Cackle Hatchery is excited to announce the start of the 2024 photo contest! Over the decade-plus that we've held this contest, we've found that our customers enjoy the opportunity to show off their poultry and get a little creative. Of course, there are also prizes at stake. Here's what those prizes look like this year:

$100.00 cash prize for Best of Breed photo. Photo that best shows the pure breed.

$100.00 cash prize for Funniest Chicken photo. Funny, cute, originality or artistic.

$100.00 cash prize for Poultry show prize or ribbon photo. Photo of bird with ribbon or prize in the photo. May or may not include persons. Include name of show day and award won on the entry form.

If you're new to the contest, you should know there are a few rules. We'll accept photos of geese, ducks, chickens, guineas, turkeys, and peafowl. We'll be look for photo quality and clarity in each submission. Each household is limited to 10 photos submitted each year. The photo must have been taken by the person submitting the entry and not have any copyrights or pending ownership of the photos being submitted.

If you mail in photos, we accept only color 4x6 inch hard copy prints or a CD. Please know they will NOT be returned and will become property of Cackle Hatchery®. Please don't write on the photos as the writing will indent or bleed through to the finished side.

All photos submitted are subject to use by Cackle Hatchery®. Enter digitally by uploading at this link. You'll also find links to winners and runners up dating back to 2008, if you're looking for some inspiration.

Photos and entry forms have to completed by Dec. 15. Winners will be announced Jan. 15. Best of luck!
