These beautiful chickens have the addition of a double dose of Mahogany color to them and are much darker than the Golden Laced Wyandotte and sometimes are referred to Black Laced Red Wyandottes.

| The Black Marans are one of the rarest breeds of chicken in the United States. Black Marans produce one of the darkest chocolate-brown eggs known. These eggs are said to be the favorite egg of James Bond.

| Dark Brahma Chickens are a gentle giants with feathered legs. They lay nice brown eggs and are winter hardy. The Dark Brahma chicken is slow to mature but are gentle and make good mothers.

CONTEST A new contest is finally here! Once again, we will be giving away three cash prizes of $50 each. All you have to do is go to our website to access our videos. You will need to find a YELLOW TRANSPORT CRATE in one of the videos. Once you find it, email jeff@cacklehatchery.com. You must put "Yellow Crate Contest" in the subject line of the email. In the contents of the email put your first and last name, address, phone number, and most importantly the name of the video in which you found the crate. The drawing will take place on December 15th and winners will be announced on or before December 19th.
