Subject: A LOOK BACK AT THE 2024 ANNUAL CHICKEN FESTIVAL

The Successful 2024 Cackle Hatchery Annual Chicken Festival!

The 2024 Cackle Hatchery Annual Chicken Festival, held in Lebanon, MO Oct. 4-5, was a major success. The well-attended, family-friendly event featured a raffle, a silent auction, an egg-eating contest and much more! While everyone enjoyed the hatchery tours, poultry showcases, and horse-drawn rides, there are a select few guests we'd like to highlight below.

Molly Schuyler stunned the crowd with a record-breaking performance in the hard boiled egg-eating contest! She won $2,000 and a trophy courtesy of Cackle Hatchery after eating 112 eggs in just eight minutes! Dan Kennedy was the runner up with 93 eggs while Greg Webb was third with 39.

The folks at Omlet USA were generous enough to donate a brand-new Eglu Pro Coop, valued at over $2,000, for the raffle. Guest Vanessa Knowles was the lucky winner!

Pictured above are Katrina and Robert Sallee. We'd like to extend our deepest thanks to them for both running the silent auction and also helping with the delivery of some donated auction birds. The silent auction raised $3,253, a new record for the Cackle Hatchery Annual Chicken Festival! The money will be going to at least three youth poultry organizations to support their organizations!

One of the many fun children's activities we had at the Cackle Hatchery Annual Chicken Festival was the coloring contest. Below are the winners for Friday and Saturday by age group:
