A Special Message to the Colorado Jewish Community:
In perilous times such as these, the Jewish community's support for Colorado-Israel trade relations is a vital component in the fight against antisemitism, BDS, and delegitimization of Israel. By facilitating and nurturing people-to-people ties between the Colorado and Israel business ecosystems, the CO-IL Chamber of Commerce is playing a key role in securing relationships that form the bedrock of mutual prosperity and enduring partnership.
To ensure Colorado's Jewish community is full briefed about our work and opportunities to get involved, we invite interested community members, synagogues, and Jewish communal institutions to schedule a private opportunity to meet or speak with the COIL team, led by co-founders Jeremiah Baronberg (Denver) and Jordan Kastrinsky (Tel Aviv).
The Colorado-Israel Chamber of Commerce (COIL) is the only nonprofit community-based organization dedicated to advancing the Colorado-Israel economic and innovation relationship.
Founded in 2024, COIL is the business bridge between Colorado and Israel as we promote and facilitate bilateral trade, economic development, and investment. With our binational teams based on-the-ground in Denver and Tel Aviv, COIL promotes Colorado to Israelis as a destination for investment, and connects Colorado's business community with Israeli innovation and know-how.
In contrast to other U.S. states that fund initiatives designed to foster economic ties with Israel, COIL has no such backing. We are a 501(c)(6) nonprofit membership and sponsorship association, and we are opening a 501(c)(3) nonprofit institute to enable tax-deductible philanthropic contributions.

About the Colorado-Israel Chamber of Commerce
Founded in 2024, the Colorado–Israel Chamber of Commerce (“COIL”) is a nonprofit, nongovernmental membership organization and business facilitation network that promotes and connects Colorado and Israel’s innovation ecosystems across key industries and sectors, including: Water & Agriculture, Energy & Climate-Tech, Bioscience & Health-Tech, Aerospace & Space-Tech, Quantum Technologies & Deep-Tech, and Cybersecurity.
Through our events, bilateral programs, delegations, and network partnerships, COIL helps startups, corporates, investors, and policymakers identify and engage opportunities that advance economic growth and resilience in both regions.
COIL is the official representative in Colorado of the BIRD Foundation, which awards up to $1.5 million in non-dilutive capital grant funding for joint R&D projects between U.S. and Israeli companies. The first BIRD grant for a joint Colorado-Israel project was recently announced.
Our Nonprofit Structure:
COIL is registered in the State of Colorado as a 501(c)(6) IRS approved nonprofit membership organization (Federal EIN#: 99-1861589) serving as the business development and innovation gateway for bilateral Colorado-Israel trade, commerce, and investment.
COIL is establishing a complementary 501(c)(3) nonprofit arm, the Colorado–Israel Economic Partnership Institute, to serve as the research, educational, and public-benefit arm of COIL, enabling tax-deductible contributions and grants to strengthen economic, scientific, and technological collaboration between Colorado and Israel. Learn more about the new CO-IL Institute here and here.
