| The month of September had started incredibly well for us. After only 10 days, we have managed to accumulate almost 1500 pips, which amounted to 9.2% return on our trading activities.
The performance level had flattened out and remained stable during most of the month untill the very last days. Just before the end of the month, we got hit by high volatility and had to give back about a 1000 pips just to finish up the month with 500 pips in the bank.
Even though we lost 2/3 of our profit in pips, we only lost about 1/2 of our profit in actuall dollars. That is because of the way we conduct our money menegement scheme, where we scale-in when price moves in our favore, while scailing out when price moves against us. |
