A Little Oktoberfest History
Oktoberfest began in Munich in 1810 as a celebration of the royal wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese. The festivities were such a success that they became an annual tradition, eventually growing into the world-famous celebration of Bavarian beer, food, music and culture we know today.
More than 200 years later, the tradition continues. Prost!
