Montsant is a mountainous region just south of Barcelona that uses Garnacha, Carignon, Tempranillo, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet in its blends. The higher altitude and the proximity to the Mediterranean give it warm days and cool nights perfect for well balanced big reds.
