Annick Brofman : Certainty is key to healing
 How much time?
How much time?
We are at a moment of our evolution where love is the great absentee, we only have to look at the situation in the world to see that selfishness, individuality, separation, racism have led to endless wars in different places of our beautiful planet.
Our world is in huge need of love. And it is the responsibility of each of us to look at how we can manifest more of it in our daily lives. This requires each of us to be more vigilant about our perceptions, our thoughts, our words, our actions.
Perceptions are the subjective way in which we interpret information from the outside world. Which perceptions do you choose, whatever the situation or the person you observe? A perception that maintains or recreates harmony and unity or a perception that creates or accentuates separation? Your perceptions create your reality, so be careful about which ones you choose.
Thoughts. Thoughts come and go and you hold on to some and give them energy. Do you give energy to the thoughts that separate, that bring disharmony in you and around you? Or do you choose the thoughts that elevate you, make you feel good and have an effect on beings and the world? Your thoughts create your reality.
Words. What words do you use? Do you use words that hurt and maintain or accentuate separation or do you use words that make those around you feel better?
Your words create your reality.
Actions. What energy are you sending out into the world with your actions? What waves of energy go out to others? Do they do good or do they bring suffering?
Your actions create your reality.
There are two distinct things. Reality and your perception of reality. Everyone perceives a different reality depending on the filter through which they look at the outside world. When you hold on to your point of view and want to be right, this reflects mental mechanisms that block the evolution of your consciousness. This leads to a limited perception of things that will trigger mental, emotional and physical reactions. We can change the way we experience life by changing our perceptual filter.
At the end of each day, ask yourself how much time you have spent in your heart chakra and then let this time increase each day, until you notice that your heart is lighter, more open, having developed love for yourself, compassion for your past, acceptance of that same past, and compassion for who you are now and acceptance of your present situation and the state of your body.
In ancient Egypt, there was the weighing of the heart. The king can enter the heavenly realms if his heart is lighter than a feather. This is the example that everyone can follow, by lightening their heart, which allows them to explore the deeper parts of their consciousness and to get out of the illusion of physical reality, of "maya", and by recognizing themselves as creators of their own reality, everyone gets out of this role of victim that they have been given by society and that they maintain.
Working with the idea that the words you use to describe your experiences create your reality, how will you describe the situation we find ourselves in now?
If you talk about psychic warfare between individuals, you get war. You have to talk about it in a way where you find and propose a harmonious solution and everyone needs to do that.
For example, in martial arts, there are different styles. Some are made to hurt the opponent like karate, of course you do it only in self-defense. Another one like Tai Chi is a dance between Yin and Yang and you learn how to dance with energy. In Aikido, it is mixing with an opposing force and you are guided from within to a harmonious solution with success in which your opponent is not your enemy but your friend and you look at a way to create a situation where his needs are met as well as yours. And Taekwondo where the deep goal is that there is no fighting.
You decide your style. In the interactions between you and others, you have the final say in what happens in your consciousness.
So, in your interaction with another being, what happens to you is what you allow to happen and you can choose not to let it happen to you. For this, it is necessary to raise your perceptions in your heart chakra, which allows you to leave the levels of consciousness where you are lost in the mirrorring aspect of your perceptions, in which you do not see the world as it is but as you are in your own consciousness.
If you want to change the way you experience life, if you want sweetness and love in abundance, then it starts within you. You can continue to be a rebel, angry, accusing this or that person of all the evils, this will only accentuate the tensions in your own consciousness and you will maintain your suffering and that of other beings.

You have the choice but if you want to go towards a world of peace, then become a pool of silence and let your love radiate towards all beings.

A little reminder :  Healers and healing
We define healing as “returning to the experience of balance (harmony) and wellness.” One who heals another is helping the other return to the experience of wellness. Those healing themselves, or involved in self-healing, are returning themselves to the experience of wellness.

The word “healing” is used to describe the process that has as its intention the return to wellness of the subject, the person receiving the healing. It is also the name we give to the end result when the process is successful. We say that the person has had a healing, and is healed.

The degree of success of the healing may be partial or total. When it is partial, the person has experienced some kind of improvement. We say that they have experienced a healing, with partial results (so far). When the effects are total, we say that the person has been healed.

A “healer” is someone participating in the process of healing, having the intention of helping the subject return to the experience of wellness. We also use the same name to describe someone who has had successful results in this role in the past. Since only healers can heal, anyone who has successfully performed a healing must be a healer.

What is implied is that those we call healers have the ability to have successful results with the process. We believe that everyone is born with this ability and only needs to learn how to use the tools they already have. To this degree, we believe that we are all healers, either latent or accomplished.

As with medicine, results of healings may not be guaranteed. When the process is successful, however, it is because of a combination of conditions that have been met, and which can be quantified. These include the degree of skill of the healer in using the tools available to him or her; the degree to which the one needing the healing is open to it, and to the process of change that necessarily accompanies it; and also the dynamics of interaction between the healer and the healee, the subject of the healing.

Obviously, many levels of healing are possible, including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual, and also many categories of healers. Some healers work with energy from God and feel they are only channels for the work being done by God. Others work with more of a sense of personal involvement in the healing, feeling it is they who are doing something, and they may not even believe in God. Either way, people are being healed.

There is no reason for anyone to continue to suffer if a means of relief is available, as a humanitarian gesture freely offered by someone with different beliefs and having the appropriate tools and skills.

Some healers work with ideas of maintaining the purity of the vehicle through which the healing energy must pass, their body, and others work with the idea that the love that heals is pure, regardless of the individual fuel requirements or the condition of the vehicle they call their body. Some healers eat meat, while others are vegetarians. Some shamanic techniques involve the use of drugs, while other healers avoid them. Some healers use substances such as herbs and various kinds of medicines, while others work only with the power of consciousness. Some healers feel good to be around, while others are best loved from a distance. What all have in common is that they have the ability to help another Being return to the experience of wholeness. They all serve the community around them by doing something that helps the members of that community.

When we consider all this, it is evident that there is no way that you must change your way of being in order to enter the community of healers. The first rule is just to be yourself and to do whatever works best for you, even if you do it differently from everyone else around you.

It doesn’t matter what your personal habits are, or your eating habits, sexual habits, or social skills. Your value to the community is your ability to heal others.

When you are successful with that, you are a healer, and that is something that can never be taken away from you, or invalidated by any other person, whatever their limiting ideas may be.

When functioning as a healer, you are a member of a community of healers that extends into every segment of our population, fitting in with the milieu in which it functions. Healers are in every part of society where healing is needed, and until now, no segment of our society has been exempt. Even healers sometimes need healing.

Some healers work in the scientific community, others in the spiritual community, the military, and in politics. Healers are found in the well-respected and socially acceptable circles of society, as well as in subcultures and countercultures such as motorcycle clubs, punks, prostitutes, and members of the drug communities..

Being able to use a set of tools effectively to heal another does not make one inherently more powerful or better than another, any more than knowing how to read makes one more powerful or better than another. Both are valuable skills that anyone can learn, and that are, in fact, taught to children. How can we inflate ourselves over our ability to use tools that can be learned by six-year-old children?

It is true that some healers may have preyed on the superstition and ignorance of those around them to advance their own private purposes. However, that is less and less common as more people discover just how accessible and easy is the ability to use the tools of healing, such as those presented in this book, as you, the reader, will discover.

It’s not a question of whether healing works, but rather one of how it works. This book is intended to explain how healing works.

Anyone can use these tools.
Anyone can heal.
Anything can be healed.

The symptom of the month: Discal Hernia
A spinal disc herniation is a medical condition affecting the spine, in which a tear in the outer, fibrous ring of a disc between the vertebrae in the spine allows the soft, central to bulge out beyond the damaged outer rings. This can cause pressure on various nerves, causing pain. See which chakra is closest to the disc involved, and also the location of the pain. There has been tension in the affected chakra and there may be a message in the part of the body and/or the function affected by the pain. Thus, a discal hernia in the lumbar region could point to tensions at the level of the orange chakra, about food or sex, and could represent the person immobilizing him/herself in that area of their life.
Success story and feedback from classes of the month
Had such positive results from weekend.
As you know came with list as thought I would be more specific and not backwards in coming forwards.
Asked for healing as follows
To breathe in and out freely, fully and easily
Give and receive love spontaneously
Heal my pain in my knees and elbows
Heal my irritated skin
Heal my sometimes tendency towards supressing my will in order to please others
I want to see clearly and hear clearly
Heal my tendency towards low mood
Heal my sometimes feeling of exhaustion
As you know I was feeling positive during the weekend but healing really kicked in monday and tuesday and I continued to "fizz" till about yesterday.
Positive results with all the above but absolutely amazing is that my relationship with C.... feels comfortable again and I hadn't asked for that. That far exceeds my expectations. I feel comfortable in my space and own my surroundings.
I keep my glasses with me but haven't worn them since the weekend and know that I have some way to go with that but know now that some deep belief needs to change in order for me to see clearly.
Well, I was surprized to get these results from persons that weren't experienced in BMH. But there it is. Very real. There must have been a collective healing energy at work!
