 Choose trust 
In the consciousness map we use to observe the human being, aspects of consciousness such as freedom, personal power as well as control and personality and the mental are linked to the solar plexus chakra.

At the level of consciousness, it is useful to be in control when doing certain things, for example when working or driving. When the use of control increases excessively in a person's consciousness then the perception of freedom can be diminished. One cause of excessive use of control may be a reaction to insecurity or fear.

This emotion, fear, can exist when we imagine a future that does us no good. This behavior can lead to the formation of an emotional filter of insecurity or fear through which events will be viewed.

This filter will also have an effect in another particular area of consciousness: the root chakra, which is associated with trust and security. Thus the person who would be in this configuration will not be fully present, because part of the thoughts, which will compose the mind, will be directed towards the anticipation of a future that does not do any favors.

"Confidence acts like a magnet that attracts what we want, fear can strengthen the attraction of what we don't want."

Let's take an example. You have to catch a train, but you're afraid of missing it. Under this pressure of fear and to compensate for it, you may use a lot of control by analyzing far in advance the means of transportation to get to the station or thinking about checking many times the departure time of the train or the number of the platform you have to get to. Everything is under control, but out of fear. In fact, you are giving power to fear and letting it control you. It may work, but you will consume a lot of energy, feel both relieved and tired when you finally find your seat. However, you will already be thinking about getting off the train.

From the point of view that fear is an energy that works like a glue, if you are continually afraid of something, you will eventually tend to attract it into your reality. In the same way, trust is a magnet. You have the choice of encouraging the attraction of what you don't want by being afraid or the attraction of what you do want by feeling confident.

As mentioned earlier, control is an aspect of consciousness associated with the solar plexus chakra. When you use this control in excess, it can affect the other aspects of consciousness also associated with this chakra: personal power, that is, your ability to do things, and freedom. As far as freedom at the individual level is concerned, if your behavior is to over-control your actions, your emotions, your personality, your relationships, your communication, etc., what will happen to your freedom? What about your freedom? It is quite clear that the perception of it will decrease in proportion to the excess of control you use. The idea would be to find your balance between the amount of control to use and the amount of freedom to balance these aspects of the solar plexus chakra.

While this balance may be an issue for individuals, as groups are made up of the sum of the individuals that make up the group, it can also become an issue at the collective level.

In the context of a group of individuals, a city, a country or a planet, if the excessive use of control in response to background fears were adopted, how would this affect the group's configuration as well as the collective perception of freedom?

 Bulimia nervosa is an eating disorder characterized by binge eating and purging, or consuming a large amount of food in a short amount of time followed by an attempt to rid oneself of the food consumed (purging), typically by vomiting, taking a laxative or diuretic, and/or excessive exercise.

Since it is considered an eating disorder, we can say that the second (orange) chakra controlling food and sex might be overactive, though the compulsion to get rid of the food or its effects afterwards points to control issues at the level of the solar plexus.

Body-Mirror Course

The day I came to the workshop (and some time ago) I had pain in my knees and could not kneel at all.
I could not bend (stretch) parts of the body, nor hold legs upright or stay in an exercise for more than 3 seconds. I had serious trust issues and felt intense sadness.
After the healings received in the workshop and practicing the method either alone or as part of a group practice, I began to have minimal knee pain and was able to even sit cross-legged and kneel easily and then stand up with minimal difficulty.
I can stretch now, define my legs and respond well to music and dance.
