Since I was young, I have been a strong believer in and follower of the principles that Napoleon Hill wrote about in his 1937 masterpiece, "Think and Grow Rich." But I have to say that the style of writing and language used in the original text have often been hard for me to understand and, therefore, difficult to put into practise.

This book by Brian McGinty is like a breath of fresh air. It lives up to its name by taking you step-by-step on a journey through the essence of the concepts in "Think and Grow Rich." McGinty does a great job of getting to the main points and weaving in valuable lessons from his own life, having had the privilege to study under the late Bob Proctor, who, in my humble opinion, was without a doubt the foremost expert on all things "Think and Grow Rich."

This book is a guide for personal growth and change. It gives you the clarity, motivation, and practical steps you need in pursuit of your goals in the areas of your wealth, health, and mental health no matter who you are, how old you are, or what you do for a living. McGinty shows convincingly that success and happiness are not mutually exclusive and are not limited to certain people, cultures, countries, or situations. As he puts it, these principles can work for anyone, whether that are "a dog groomer, a CEO, a baton twirler, or an aspiring astronaut". It gives you the knowledge and tools you need to obtain both wealth and true happiness. McGinty's ultimate goal is to help as many people as possible reach their dreams, no matter where they are in their lives or where they came from. Every chapter shows how passionate he is in achieving this goal and how much he believes in all's ability to succeed and find happiness, through the implementation of these principles.

McGinty's writing style is engaging and practical, offering actionable advice and profound insights. The book moves at a steady pace that keeps you engaged from beginning to end. It will give you the inspiration and motivation you need to move towards your dreams in a decisive way.

I was taught some of these principles when I was seventeen in a summer job working for the Kirby vacuum company! (I had just finished my A-levels and was going to University to do a law course).

I still have my Kirby G5 and it still works after 28 years so it just goes to show they were worth the money and the presentation was honest! 😀🦾 

It definitely was being thrown in at the deep end when it comes to sales training.

(Not sure you would be allowed to make losing sales teams walk into the Irish Sea at 6 am nowadays. Was good motivation for me so I never had to do it. 😂
