UPDATE: Suspect Apprehended After Standoff in Pacific Palisades

A suspect, who had barricaded himself in a garage in Pacific Palisades after allegedly crashing a stolen vehicle and firing shots at LAPD officers, has been taken into custody.

The hours-long standoff came to an end at about 8 a.m. after SWAT teams used an armored vehicle to remove the garage door.
