BREAKING NEWS: Suspect in Hancock Park Fatal Stabbing Arrested

Shawn Laval Smith was taken into custody Wednesday, January 19, in Pasadena in connection with 24-year-old Palisadian Brianna Kupfer’s death.
Kupfer was stabbed to death during a daytime attack while working alone at luxury furniture store Croft House in Hancock Park on Thursday, January 13. Authorities offered $250,000 as a reward for information leading to Smith’s capture.
The arrest was made at 11:50 a.m. near Fair Oaks and Colorado Blvd.
