In preparation for President Barack Obama's visit, the Los Angeles Police Department has listed several streets to avoid for the next two days, Oct. 9 and 10, in an effort to reduce congestion.
City transportation authorities have also restricted parking on Allenford Avenue.
Parking will be restricted from 6 am to 6pm today, Oct. 9, on both sides of the street in front of Paul Revere Charter Middle School on Allenford Avenue.
Obama is scheduled to attend a fundraiser hosted by Gwyneth Paltrow, who owns a large estate in Mandeville Canyon.
Purchased by Paltrow for nearly $11 million in 2012, the estate features sprawling lawns, oaks and horse stables and a paddock, according Zilllow.com.
Police are recommending vehicle operators avoid the following locations to avoid travel delays for community members:

- The area around Santa Monica Boulevard between 26th St. & Ocean Avenue from 3:30- 5:00p.m.
- The area around Ocean Avenue between Pico Boulevard & San Vicente Boulevards from 3:30 - 5:00p.m.
- The area around San Vicente Boulevard between Ocean Avenue & Bundy Drive. 5:00- 7:30p.m
- The area around Sunset Boulevard between Allenford Avenue & Barrington Avenue from 5:00-7:30p.m.
