BREAKING NEWS: LAUSD Campuses to Remain Closed

Los Angeles Unified School District reported on Monday, July 13, that campuses will not reopen when the 2020-21 academic year begins on August 18 and that schools will continue with online learning until further notice.

“While the new school year will begin in August, it will not start with students at school facilities,” Superintendent Austin Beutner shared in an update to the community. “The health and safety of all in the school community is not something we can compromise.”

Additional information about LAUSD and other schools in the Palisades will be in this week's edition of the paper, out July 16.
