BREAKING NEWS: Evacuation Ordered After Weapons Discovered in Highlands Home

LAPD ordered evacuations after a stash of weapons were discovered in a home in the Highlands neighborhood of Pacific Palisades this afternoon.

A bomb squad has been called to the home in the 1700 block of Palisades Drive.

Palisades Drive is closed northbound at Vereda de la Montura and there is no estimate on when it will be reopened per authorities on the scene.

The weapons were located during a death investigation at the home on Friday.
