Mayor Eric Garcetti has issued a “Safer at Home” emergency order, ordering residents to stay inside their home and limit all nonessential movement to combat the spread of COVID-19.
Residents will still be able to go to grocery stores, pharmacies, medical appointments and restaurants for takeout, as well as exercise outdoors while observing social distancing.
The number of cases in the county has risen to 217, with five cases confirmed in Pacific Palisades, according to LA County officials.
