| | BREAKING NEWS: Bob Benton Elected Chamber President
The Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce voted long-time Chamber member Bob Benton in as president, effective Sept. 1. Benton, who formerly owned and operated Benton's Sport Shop on Swarthmore Avenue, brings over 35 years of business experience in the Palisades to the Chamber. Benton also serves as commissioner of the Pacific Palisades Baseball Association.
"Bob's knowledge of the business environment and his dedication to the Palisades will be a big asset as we refocus the Chamber's purpose toward being in business for business," Susan Payne, chair of the Board of Directors, said in a statement.
