BREAKING NEWS: Adam West, TV “Batman” and Palisadian Mayor, dies

Adam West, the former Huntington resident who played Batman on the eponymous ABC TV show for 120 episodes between 1966 and 1968, has died aged 89 after a short battle with leukemia, his family announced Saturday, June 10. West, who last appeared on TV in Feb. 2016 in an episode of “The Big Bang Theory,” was honorary mayor of Pacific Palisades in 1975-1976.
