Subject: Sign the manifesto for a world free from plastic pollution!

Dear BFFP members,

As the Plastics Treaty negotiations enter into a critical phase, with INC 3 in Kenya happening next week, it becomes more and more vital for the whole movement to come together to demand ambitious reductions in plastic production.

To demonstrate our collective power and the urgent need for a deep cut in plastic production, we have prepared a collective manifesto for a future free from plastic pollution that calls for addressing the root of the problem.

We hope every BFFP member will put their name to the manifesto. It's of vital importance that we show the scale of concern over plastic pollution, and the scale of agreement on the ultimate solution - cutting plastic production.

Please read the manifesto and add your organisations name in this Google Form if you want to sign up.

At the INC3, we will make it public during the planned BFFP March in Nairobi and call for other civil society organisations to sign.

We hope that the manifesto signatories will grow in size and scope - covering a wide range of issues, not just organisations concerned with plastic pollution.

Demonstrating this intersectionality will be powerful for the final negotiations, so please share this with other civil society groups in your networks as well.

Together, we are taking action for a world free from plastic pollution!
