Events and Releases

To celebrate The Story of Plastic's Emmy nomination, the full documentary is available for free on Discovery's Youtube until the end of the month.

The Story of Plastic is a searing 95-minute expose, uncovering the ugly truth behind plastic pollution and how Big Oil and Big Gas have successfully manipulated the narrative of plastic to hide the biggest impacts from policymakers and citizens.

Join the Single-Use Plastic Rebellion Throughout Europe!

The Single Use Rebellion is an EU-wide mobilization campaign that invites all EU citizens to report any plastic that is forbidden by the SUP directive (plates, cutlery, polystyrene boxes, straws, etc).

If you spot them still being sold, take a picture and share on Surfrider Europe's new tracking website!

The campaign will run until the European Week for Waste Reduction, which ends on the 28th of November.

Let's make sure these items are off the shelves!
