As Heinrich Boell Stiftung (hbs) Hong Kong Office and Break Free from Plastic Asia Pacific (BFFP AP) prepare to launch the Asian edition of our publication, Plastic Atlas, in early 2021, we are jointly organising a photo contest so that YOU too can raise awareness of Asia’s part in the plastic pollution crisis.

Vietnam Conference Tackles Plastic Pollution Solutions

 

Last December 14, 2020, a conference was hosted by the Communication Centre of MONROE attended by 100 representatives of Vietnamese national and local government, businesses and civil society groups. In the conference, remarkable progress on Year 1 Implementation of Against Plastic Waste Movement in Vietnam according to Vietnam Zero Waste Alliance.

Bandung Bioscience and Biotechnology Development Foundation (YPBB) facilitates Organis Shop, a Zero Waste store. In Organis Shop, soaps, shampoo, cooking ingredients, and others are sold at affordable prices and customers are required to bring their own shopping bags and reusable containers.
