| Hey Friend,
What a weekend...
We just had the biggest and arguably the best Mr. Olympia ever!
It was the first time that the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas was jam packed at full capacity with 10,000 bodybuilding fans. And I was fortunate enough to be there in attendance sitting with my personal bodybuilding & fitness mentor...
My Dad :-)
Back in 1990 when I was just 12 years old, my Dad introduced me to weight training. He gave me a York Home Gym Weight Set for Christmas that year and showed me how to lift weights.
We spent the next 8 years working out together as training partners in our little home gym before eventually moving on to a public gym.
My dad is the man responsible for me getting involved with bodybuilding in the first place. And he's never been able to attend a major bodybuilding event before. So it meant a lot to do something nice for him and to have some quality father son time together at the Biggest Olympia Weekend Ever!
And the best part is he's loving every minute of it, my dad's as happy as a kid at Christmas right now :-)
