| Sorry for the delay!
If you've followed my regular posts for any length of time (7 years and counting) you know that I rarely miss a week.
In fact, I believe I've only missed 3.
Sorry to say that today makes 4.
My next blog will feature a chronic illness book review as well as an information packed in-depth interview on a colleague's new book. I want to give it the full focus it deserves.
But, it will have to wait. My writing time and attention was redirected today by a local fire that, at this time, is still burning strong with 0% containment, as of this post. It has burned over 4000 acres. Fortunately, we were not evacuated (but it was way too close for comfort).
I took this shot from my backyard earlier today.
We're grateful that if the winds continue as they are, we're out of the fire's path. And, please join me in praying for those who are not as fortunate.
