Now that BJJToday.net and BJJVideoVault.com has grown so large, we're recruiting more writers for our content and we're wondering if YOU would be interested. And before you think you're not eligible or don't have something to contribute think about this.

We are not just looking for experienced practitioners and writers. The aim of BJJ Today is for all BJJ practitioners and we also currently have writers that are white belts. You've probably read articles they've written including the articles on the experiences and tips for beginners etc. You can also write about strength and conditioning, BJJ gear, a review of your gym or any particular topic you want.

Of course, we will remunerate you either with products or monetarily if you are a successful candidate so if you are interested, just write to us with an email. Direct it to "Steven" at info@bjjtoday.net and we can start discussing.

Provided below are some of the most popular stories of the week.

Thanks and enjoy your week.

Overtraining In Jiu Jitsu
So what’s the big deal about getting sucked into a hardcore BJJ lifestyle? Overtraining! If you’ve read any of our articles and posts, you know that we love BJJ as much as anyone. Heck, this site is dedicated to all things BJJ. But overtraining is a subject that must be discussed and must be taken seriously. As far as we are concerned overtraining in Jiu Jitsu is the only negative side effect of being a hardcore BJJ practitioner, but if you don’t address it you could end up paying a very steep price.
We asked at our Facebook Fan Page...

What is the most common and frequent mistake you make during a Triangle Choke submission?

And we had a huge number of responses. Everything from not locking in the ankle to getting the wrong angle. You should read all the answers at the Facebook Page.
