Second BigMedilytics consortium meeting in Rotterdam

The Erasmus University and the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam (The Netherlands) hosted the second meeting of BigMedilytics project on the 25th and 26th of September respectively. This fruitful event, which gathered representatives of the 35 partners that make up the consortium, was focused on reviewing the progress and the achievements so far and underlining the next required steps.
How can big data help to improve chronic disease management?

One of the areas of research in BigMedilytics is devoted to exploring how big data can help to solve problems in a wide spectrum of chronic diseases and conditions.
BigMedilytics Kick-off meeting in Eindhoven

The Kick-off meeting of the BigMedilytics project took place in the Conference Center High Tech Campus in Eindhoven (The Netherlands) on the 6th and 7th of March.
BigMedilytics consortium receives EU funding to improve healthcare outcomes

The three-year program is the largest EU-funded initiative to transform the region’s healthcare sector through the use of big data.
New deliverable available!
Base line measurements have been executed and the results are now publically available. More information on the “T0 base line measurement of the KPIs” can be found in deliverable 5.1 that is now published on the website.
Upcoming events
The Big Data Value Association (BDVA), along with the European Commission and the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation and Technology, organizes the European Big Data Value Forum from 12-14 of November in Vienna (Austria). A session about Healthcare will be led by BigMedilytics on the first day.
