Subject: Big Blend e-News: Your Copy of Big Blend’s Inaugural SUCCESS EXPRESS Business & Career Magazine – Fall/Winter 2022

  October 2, 2022
 Dear Friend:

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” Pele
Our hearts go out to everyone and their friends and family who were in the path of Hurricane Ian. It’s been a scary and devasting week in many parts of the southeast USA. As always, America pulls through by supporting each other in times of need. Let’s hope we continue that tradition in working together in this recovery effort.

We’re excited to announce the first issue of Big Blend’s SUCCESS EXPRESS Magazine is here, focusing on business, career, leadership, and professional development. We’ve been hosting the Big Blend Radio SUCCESS EXPRESS podcast for over 10 years, so it’s only fitting that this magazine is included in this year’s expansion of Big Blend Magazines. After all, there’s nothing like a good story of success. One that’s packed with grit but oiled with perseverance. One that reminds us to think outside the box and look at a business or career as a work of art. A creative process that is allowed to stretch and change and, dip and soar.

This issue highlights success stories from a multitude of careers. Peggy Fiandaca shares her and her husband’s story of opening and running a winery. Christy Wood discusses what it takes to become a world champion horse trainer and trail guide. Best-selling author Dr. Jacqueline Eubany talks about becoming a cardiologist and electrophysiologist. Tanya Ortega gives an overview of the National Parks Arts Foundation and their unique artist residencies in parks across the country, and six accepted artists discuss their beneficial experiences during and after their residencies. Plus, travel writer Debbie Stone pays a visit to the Pro Football Hall of Fame where she learned the role women play in the sport.

Hear our conversations with Lea Brovedani “The Trust Architect” who shares advice on building trust in one’s career and leadership position, life coach Steve Piacente who focuses on communication and the importance of “speaking up,” and San Diego employment attorney Ward Heinrichs who always keeps us up to date on California’s growing list of new labor laws.

This issue also features interviews with several expert authors that focus on life lessons and leadership, the art of writing and publishing, digital strategy and marketing, and much more. We look forward to growing our coverage to include business travel and conference destinations, sales and marketing, small business spotlights, and more!
