Winter Holiday Greetings from Snowy Madison, Wisconsin!

Travel is finally starting to open back up, however social distancing remains a necessity. Perhaps taking the road less traveled in 2021 will indeed lead to the next great adventure.

From Scotts Bluff in northwest Nebraska to the wilderness areas of California’s Sequoia Country, this issue showcases remote parks and unique destinations across the country, and even a 72-hour escapade in Chiang Mai, Thailand. From Colorado’s Grand Valley to Dry Tortugas National Park, the world of the arts also shines in the spotlight with artist and author interviews, parks and places to visit, and public art tours. As always, there are historic sites to visit and fascinating stories about trailblazers from the past. This issue also shares distinctive places to shop, stay, and play, as well as advice for those who work in the tourism and hospitality industries.

Even with all the obstacles that 2020 put in our way, we safely continued our Love Your Parks Tour and managed to visit over a hundred parks in over twenty states. With the immense amount of footage and stories we recorded, we are going to launch a series of special edition publications to showcase the rich history and incredible beauty of the parks and places we visited, and introduce you to all the wonderful people we met along the way. America is beautiful!
