Hello from Crossville, Tennessee!
We hope you had a lovely winter holiday time with friends and family, and that you stayed safe and warm. We spent the holiday week in Crossville, Tennessee with our two beautiful Bengal cat friends, and enjoyed a dusting of snow and visits from the local neighborhood deer.
Tomorrow we’re off to Decatur and Peachtree City, just outside Atlanta, Georgia. We’re excited to kickoff the New Year with some live Big Blend Radio anniversary shows, new issues of our various Big Blend Magazines, and along with continuing our pet-sitting and park adventures across the country, we’ll be traveling the historic Jefferson Highway (circa 1915) that runs from Winnipeg, Canada to New Orleans, Louisiana (see our new 2-part podcast and map feature below). While the world isn’t quite out of the woods with the pandemic, it’s so exciting to see people back out visiting with friends and loved ones!
We’ll be back in touch in the New Year with the new issue of “Parks & Travel” Magazine that’s focused on the western side of the country. In the meantime, here’s a round-up of our latest interviews and articles, and list of upcoming Big Blend Radio shows.
