Subject: This exercise develops RIDICULOUS core strength...
Core 
            strength is incredibly important not only for 
            people who want to lift very heavy weights 
            and improve athletic performance but also those
            who want to prevent back pain and injury. 
The deep muscles of the 
            core (the obliques and the transverse 
            abdominus) are critical for this purpose.
            
            And ordinary crunches and sit-ups 
            are NOT going to work these 
            muscles in a way that develops the serious strength we're looking 
            for.
            
            When many people think of the 
            obliques, they think of rotational
            exercises like trunk twists, etc. 
            
            However, one of the primary functions 
            of those deep core muscles
            is what's known as anti-rotation...which means PREVENTING
            rotation of your torso 
(A good example of this 
            is if you hold your arms straight
            out in front of you and somebody pushes on them to try and 
            turn your torso sideways...and you resist. That's anti-rotation.)
And 
            that's where the One-Arm Lever Deadlift 
            comes into play.
            
            This exercise is one of my new favorites for deveoping core strength
            because not only does it target the deep core muscles, it also hits
            the lower back very effectively as well (including the small muscles
            that stabilize the spine, a.k.a. the multifidus).
            
            Check
