Subject: In-Set Supersets for building MASS...

One of my favorite training techniques for
building muscle (and one of the most
effective, I think!) is something I call an
In-Set Superset
.

Essentially, you'll be performing TWO different exercises
for ONE bodypart. These exercises will share the same
start or end position, which means you can transition very
easily between them...on every rep.

This hits the target muscle from several different angles
in one set, with no loss of tension...the end result of which
is SERIOUS gains in muscle mass.

The best example of this is the Lying Tricep Extension and
Close Grip Bench Press.

Imagine yourself holding the top of a Close Grip Bench
Press (with an EZ bar)...now come down into a press
then back up.

Now, from that SAME top position, lower the bar into a Lying
Tricep Extension, then come back up. Then repeat the press
again.

Alternate reps of each exercise until you can no longer do
reps with the weaker exercise (the extension). Then you
can either end the set or, if it's your last set, burn out on
the stronger exercise (the press).

Every time I use this one, my triceps swell up like BALLOONS.
