Glass Fusing Date Night

Join us for a Friday night of fusing fun. Bring a date, partner, or "friend for life" and make your own fused glass wreaths. Learn from a skilled glass artist and decorate your glass wreaths to give as a holiday gift or to add to your own seasonal decor.

Class time: 6 - 8 pm

Crackle Cup Make Your Own - January 25

Make Your Own Experiences

Sign up for our monthly "Make Your Own" experiences at the Belger Glass Annex and get a feel for what it's like to create with molten glass.

Jan. 25 - NEW! Crackle Cup: Try a new glassblowing technique that involves dipping hot glass into cold water to create a sparkly crackle pattern on your cup.
Feb. 8 - Glass Heart: Make a glass heart to give as a Valentine’s Day gift or bring your sweetheart for a unique date experience.

Glass Masterclass with Jason McDonald

"I'll Make You a Punty You Can't Refuse"

APRIL 28 – MAY 2, 2025

Jason McDonald will lead a masterclass intensive where he’ll introduce the basics of 16th century Venetian style glassblowing from an American studio perspective. The class will have a “skills and drills” format covering basic to advanced steps of blowing thin, footed vessels. Class will include instructor demos and student practice time.

Limited spots available. Glass 2 or equivalent required.

A free artist talk on Wednesday, April 30, from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery (2011 Tracy Ave., KCMO)
A free glassblowing demonstration on First Friday, May 2, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Belger Glass Annex (1219 E. 19th St., KCMO)

Thanksgiving Hours

Belger Arts’ three locations will be closed on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Our regular hours will resume on Saturday, November 30.
