FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Kansas City, MO - Sensuality and humor are qualities inherent in Nick Joerling’s expressive and gestural forms. His non-traditional techniques challenge the constraints of utility, resulting in pots that entertain risky possibilities. Dreaming in Form is an exhibition of Joerling’s recent work.

Joerling conducts a one- and two-day workshop entitled “Expressive Pots: Throwing and Altering with Nick Joerling.” Workshop dates are Saturday, March 7 (one-day, demonstration), and March 7 and 8 (two-day, demonstration and hands-on). Workshop hours for both days are 10am to 4pm. Joerling also presents a free slide lecture on Saturday, March 7 at 4:30pm. For more information or to register for the workshop, call 816-474-7316 or visit www.redstarstudios.org.
