Winter Clay Camp (Ages 7-17)
Belger Arts provides creative fun led by our experienced ceramics educators. Sessions include the pottery wheel and handbuilding projects for campers aged 7-17. With morning and afternoon sessions, busy families can choose the schedule that works best for their holiday needs.

Plaster Press Molds with Elaine Buss Wednesdays, January 8-29, 2-5 PM
If you want to explore new shapes and deviate from the usual flat bottom, this is your class! We will use these press molds in combination with slab and coil handbuilding methods. Plaster molds are strong and can last forever! Great details are available with these materials and the range of shapes available in this style is enormous. Closed forms and paddling will enable even further control over shapes. These are great skills both for one of a kind objects or creating a series.

Directed Study with Kate with Kate Schroeder Thursdays, January 9-30, 2-5 PM
This class will help you push your own boundaries by working directly with you to accomplish your own ceramic goals. Want to throw on the wheel? Let’s do it! Want to make slab work? Let’s make it happen! Want to make coil pots? We can do that too! Bring your own ideas and Kate will help you see them through.

Glazing 101 with Paul Mallory Thursdays, January 9-30, 6-9 PM
You spent all that time making your ceramic pieces from scratch, the last thing you want to do is mess it up with glazing. In this class you’ll learn to be more confident in your glazing by learning techniques that include dipping, pouring, brushing and spraying. In-class time will be spent glazing bisqueware you bring to class as well as making forms that can take advantage of different glazing techniques.
