After Hours: Belger Arts Employee Exhibition opens this Friday, March 5 at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery (2011 Tracy, Ave., Kansas City, MO 64108). After Hours showcases the artistic talents of the artists who are members of the Belger Arts staff. While Belger Arts (comprised of Belger Arts Center, Belger Crane Yard Studios, and Crane Yard Clay) is known for its ceramics exhibitions and programs, the artists who work here represent a range of media, including glass, wood, mixed media, and ceramics.  The works on view also reflect a diversity of approaches, techniques, and themes. After Hours will remain on view through June 5, 2021.

"New Moves: The Broadcast Series" is a virtual series that features the Kansas City Ballet performing new works in various Kansas City locations. The Belger Crane Yard Gallery, at 2011 Tracy Ave., KCMO, is the setting for the March 11 episode. Learn how you can stream the Belger Arts episode, which begins at 7 pm (CST) on March 11, by clicking the link below. Each "New Moves" episode is free and includes bonus features, such as interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and more. These free, 20-minute episodes are released every Thursday at 7 pm (CST) through April 9, 2021.

In addition to Belger Crane Yard Gallery, add Belger Arts Center to your First Friday adventure. William Christenberry: Tracing Time continues at Belger Arts Center (2100 Walnut St., KCMO). The exhibition offers an examination of art icon William Christenberry's relationship to Hale County, Alabama where he spent his summers as a child, its influence on his conceptual approach and artistic vision, and the psychology of place and memory. The exhibition includes photographs, drawings, paintings, and sculptures from the Belger Collection, some never before seen in Kansas City.
