Summer Art Camp (Ages 7-12)

There’s still time to sign up for a session of Summer Art Camp (ages 7-12). Belger Arts offers several week-long sessions of fun and creative art projects led by experienced art educators. Different themes, mediums, and techniques will be explored, including throwing on the pottery wheel and hand-building.

New Adult Classes in August

Want to expand your ceramic knowledge beyond the basics? Why not try one of our special topics courses like Feeding My Plan Addiction with Elina Jurado! Over the course of 4 weeks, students will learn to make different types of planters and accessories for your ever growing houseplant collection! We will cover how to design a planter best suited for your houseplants like the traditional planter and saucer, planters ideal to hang draping plants, bud vases, or orchid pots.

Fall/Winter Glass Classes

Have you always wanted to learn how to blow glass? Did you know that the Belger Glass Annex offers introductory and intermediate glass blowing classes?

Belger Glass Annex glassblowing classes provide a strong foundation in the fundamentals of glassblowing and are offered in either a 4-week or weekend format. No prior experience is required for Glass 1.

Group Glass Experience

Want a hands-on glassblowing experience for a private group? Book a group glass experience at the Belger Glass Annex! Perfect for school groups, corporate outings, or special occasions. Visit our website for a list of available dates.

Date Night

Bring a fun friend or sweetheart to a Date Night Pottery Class at Belger Arts Center (2100 Walnut, KCMO). Learn to throw on the wheel, decorate what you make, and we'll fire and glaze it. Your finished work can be picked up one month after class. Date Night happens every Friday and Saturday! Classes sell out quickly, so don't delay!
