Live Glass Blowing Demo with Tyler Suter & New Resident Artists

The Belger Glass Annex is back and ready to shine. Join us for a live-narrated glass blowing demonstration featuring a team of community glassblowers, resident artist alumnus Tyler Suter, and new resident artists Jamison Cole and Santiago Mora.

Tyler Suter will offer remarks at the Glass Annex before joining the team to create a colorful collaborative piece, symbolically “passing the torch” to the new residents.

Live Clay Demo with Resident Artist Zoey McLeod

at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery

Resident Artist Zoey McLeod creates ceramic work in collaboration with natural materials, crafting mementos of memory that bring affectionate nostalgia into domestic spaces.

See McLeod’s process up close as she applies illustrations to hand-built ceramic baskets using sgraffito techniques.

Sara Alfieri with her work featured in Proximity and Practice

Proximity and Practice: Belger Arts’ Annual Resident Exhibition

Over the past year, Belger Arts' eight resident artists have pushed their studio practices, exploring how proximity—or lack thereof—shapes their connections to family, community, online spaces, and the physical world.

Join us for remarks from Resident Artist Sara Alfieri at 6:30 PM on Friday, September 4.

Plan your visit before Proximity and Practice closes on Saturday, September 5, 2026.

Beat the Heat

Through diverse techniques and materials, artists featured in Beat the Heat capture the distinctive spirit of summer, evoking both the warmth of the season and relief from its oppressive heat. Each artist addresses a key aspect of the summer experience—whether it’s vibrant nightlife, exploring the outdoors and urban environments, or finding moments of calm amid the season’s frenzy. Together, they consider the central question: “What Beats the Heat?”

See the exhibition before it closes Saturday, September 5, 2026.
