Glass Classes in 2023

Learn the basics of glassblowing at the Belger Glass Annex. Take Glass 1 and get an introduction to basic glassblowing tools and equipment, learn how to gather molten glass, and blow and shape it using traditional tools and techniques. Build on your Glass 1 skills in Glass 2 and take your techniques to a new level. Both classes are offered in a four-week and a weekend format. 

Intro to Goblet Making Workshop

Learn the fundamentals of glass goblet making with a three-day Introduction to Goblet Making workshop taught by Hoseok Youn, February 3-5, 2023.


Traditional Venetian goblets are one of the most fascinating and challenging objects to create. They are complex objects that incorporate many technically challenging glassblowing skills. Each skill builds upon the next to create a complete goblet with a cup, a stem, and a foot. The focus of this workshop is to build a strong foundation in the fundamentals of goblet making with an emphasis on learning traditional processes.
