We are thrilled to highlight two artists whose creativity and dedication are on view at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery.  Miguel Artiz (right) is based in South Carolina and specializes in both ceramics and glass. He is dedicated to creating unique aesthetic experiences within functional ware and house décor, exploring form, function, and technique to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. His work is featured in Put a Lid on It and Holidays at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery, two exhibitions currently on view through January 3, 2026.   On most days Kim Pjecha (left) can be found working in the Belger Crane Yard Studios, where she’s a valued Studio Member. After a 37-year career as an illustrator and product designer, Pjecha is now retired and fully devoted to sculpting and creating for herself. She explores themes of memory and history, pushing the boundaries of her medium to prompt viewers to engage with contrasting and thought-provoking ideas. We congratulate her for receiving an Honorable Mention from the judges for her work titled RAM, included in the exhibition Put a Lid on It.  You can also meet her and see more of her work during the Holiday Studio Sale and Open House on November 21 and 22. |
