Date Night

Date Night happens Friday and Saturday evenings (6:30-8:30 pm) at the Belger Arts Center (2100 Walnut, KCMO). Bring your sweetheart, a friend, or family member and enjoy a creative evening in the Crossroads Arts District. Learn to throw on the wheel, decorate what you make, and we'll fire and glaze it. Your finished work can be picked up one month after class. Date Night sells out quickly, so don't delay!

Something unique for

Valentine's Day

Enjoy a fun, hands-on glassblowing experience and "Make Your Own" glass heart on Saturday, February 10. Get a feel for what it's like to blow glass as professional glassblowers guide you through the process. Reservations are $75 per person. Open to all experience levels, spaces fill up quickly.

Beginner Glassblowing Classes

Learn the basics of glassblowing in a weekend Glass 1 class. Glass 1 introduces fundamental glassblowing skills and paves the way to more advanced glassblowing classes like Glass 2 and specialty workshops. The next available Glass 1 class is on Saturday and Sunday, March 23-24.

Masterclass with Minhi England, June 3-7

Led by Minhi England, the season 3 runner up on the Netflix hit series “Blown Away,” this class will focus on the glass sculpting techniques she uses in her artwork. Delve into advanced hot sculpting techniques, including the integration of blown and solid elements to create sculptural forms. Space is limited! Glass 2 or equivalent is required.

Minhi will also give a free artist talk on Wednesday, June 5 at 6pm and a free glassblowing demo on First Friday, June 7, 6-8pm.
