Only a few spots remain for Rob Stern's four-day glassblowing workshop, Thursday, March 3 - Sunday, March 5.

Rob's workshop, "Finding Your Way," will take you on a deep dive into the process of creating glass sculpture. With daily project-specific demos and one-on-one instruction, you will design, develop, and expedite personal projects, and take your glassblowing skills to the next level. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to work with a master glassblower! Glass 2 or equivalent required.

Rob Stern will also give a free artist talk on Thursday, March 2 (6-7pm) and first Friday glassblowing demo on March 3 (6-8pm).

Glass Classes and Experiences

Make Your Own Glass Heart on February 11

The Belger Glass Annex offers monthly “Make Your Own” experiences that give you a taste of what it’s like to blow glass and are fun for the whole family. Spots are still available for the Make Your Own on Saturday, February 11. Make a glass heart to give as a Valentine’s Day gift or bring your sweetheart for a unique date experience.

If you want to expand upon your Make Your Own experience, try a Glass I class. Glass I provides a strong foundation in the basics of glassblowing. Learn how to gather molten glass, how to add a bubble into the glass, and how to shape the glass using traditional tools and techniques. We’re taking signups for March and April.

Glass classes and Make Your Own experiences sell out quickly, so sign up today.  If you’d like to be added to a waitlist for a sold out class or experience, please email Katie Hogan at khogan@belgerarts.org.
