Subject: Friday Focus: Hiroe Hanazono

Hiroe Hanazono

Hiroe Hanazono's is a native of Japan and received her BA in Spatial Art and Ceramics from California State University in 2003, and her MFA in Ceramics from the School of Art, Ohio University in 2008. Her work is pleasing to the eye and to the touch with her use of muted colors, complimented with subtle glossy shapes found on the surface. Her minimal style reinforces the act of eating in everyday life and ones appreciation of food with a pleasing aesthetic that dose not compete with the busy surroundings found in everyday life. Hanazono's work is now available online and in the gallery. The gallery is open for visitors Tuesday - Friday from 10 am - 5 pm and Saturdays from 10 am - 4 pm. To learn more about her work, check out her artist page.
